Rep Order Entry Fundamentals

Course Overview

This course trains Rembrandt Fine Arts sales reps to capture clean customer orders in Odoo. It follows the short, practical style of the Fundamentals course: clear objective, one workflow per lesson, screen-by-screen actions, and a short sign-off test.

Learning Outcomes

• Log in and navigate to the right Odoo app.
• Find customers and check delivery/contact/pricing details.
• Find products by code, name, barcode, category, or catalogue structure.
• Understand stock availability and backorder behaviour.
• Create and review a customer order accurately.
• Confirm correct customer pricing is applied.
• Submit a clean order for office and warehouse processing.
• Recognise common exceptions and know when to escalate.

Key Rule

The rep's job is to capture a clean customer order: right customer, right products, right quantities, right delivery details, submitted correctly. Reps should not manually ship, invoice, or complete accounting steps unless specifically authorised.
